JUSTICE FOR JAMES CHUKWUEBUKA NGWU ✊🏽🖤

On 7 November 2025, Mr. James Chukwuebuka Ngwu—a father, husband, and community youth leader—was shot dead in cold blood in Akwuke, Enugu South LGA.

He was set up through Facebook posts by some leaders of Akwuke and Etiti Ngwo community who falsely labeled him Ebuka Ugwuma the “B2” to justify jungle justice over a land dispute.They falsely accused him of being the hitman who shot one Sochima Onoh from Etiti Ngwo, who they said had been arrested by the Police. Yet they continued campaign for jungle justice for James Chukwuebuka Ngwu relying on controversial alias of B2, until he was assassinated on 7/11/25.

Several of these posts were quickly deleted after his murder, but screen shots remain.

James was targeted for supporting the Enugu State Smart School project proposed at the Ndago Nyo land and helping the government maintain peace as a Neighbourhood Watch officer within areas of Akwuke Community, position which those who frame him up are against, besides their other incendiary personal animosities and grudges that collapsed into the common motive and desire to eliminate him.

TO GREATER AKWUKE PEOPLE:

• EBUKA, DIED AS A PATRIOT PER EXCELLENCE OF AKWUKE AND AKWUKE UWANI COMMUNITIES.
• HIS MEMORIES WILL LIVE FOR AS LONG AS GREATER AKWUKE EXISTS.
• THE DEFENDER OF GREATER AKWUKE COMMUNITY.

Unfortunately since his murder:
❌ No key suspects have been arrested
❌ Those leaders of the communities walk free
❌ His widow—poor and helpless—faces intimidation
❌ Witnesses are threatened.

Even at his burial on 18/12/25 some of the suspects roamed around and the Enugu Police Officers posted by the Commissioner of Police to provide security decried lack of specific instructions to effect arrest in the circumstance even as some of them stormed the venue, his compound uninvited and threatened similar death to family members resolute to seek justice for HIM. Thereby audaciously commencing another round of death threat and blackmail, actions that normally predates murder in Akwuke, now a tradition in Akwuke Community where more than six murder cases have been recorded but did not receive thorough police investigation thereby emboldened the Murderers.

Enugu State Police Commissioner is appealed to show more commitment, approve and investigate Akwuke Community Petition on the matter and apprehend the suspects and provide security for his widow.

Investigate serial murder cases in Akwuke, like : Nwa Ogbodo Joseph, Peter Ugwu (Apiggy), Mrs. Nwagod Onyia, Daniel Onyebuchi Ogbodo, Peter Ene etc.
