{"id":30960,"date":"2025-12-23T17:53:17","date_gmt":"2025-12-23T17:53:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peoplegazette.org\/?p=30960"},"modified":"2026-03-06T03:50:34","modified_gmt":"2026-03-06T03:50:34","slug":"justice-for-james-chukwuebuka-ngwu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/peoplegazette.org\/?p=30960","title":{"rendered":"Justice for James Chukwuebuka Ngwu"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>(<strong><em>Being advertorial by Akwuke People&#8217;s Congress)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>JUSTICE FOR JAMES CHUKWUEBUKA NGWU \u270a\ud83c\udffd\ud83d\udda4<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7 November 2025, Mr. James Chukwuebuka Ngwu\u2014a father, husband, and community youth leader\u2014was shot dead in cold blood in Akwuke, Enugu South LGA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was set up through Facebook posts by some leaders of Akwuke and Etiti Ngwo community who falsely labeled him Ebuka Ugwuma the \u201cB2\u201d to justify jungle justice over a land dispute.They falsely accused him of being the hitman who shot one Sochima Onoh from Etiti Ngwo, who they said had been arrested by the Police. Yet they continued campaign for jungle justice for James Chukwuebuka Ngwu relying on controversial alias of B2, until he was assassinated on 7\/11\/25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Several of these posts were quickly deleted after his murder, but screen shots remain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>James was targeted for supporting the Enugu State Smart School project proposed at the Ndago Nyo land and helping the government maintain peace as a Neighbourhood Watch officer within areas of Akwuke Community, position which those who frame him up are against, besides their other incendiary personal animosities and grudges that collapsed into the common motive and desire to eliminate him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TO GREATER AKWUKE PEOPLE:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>EBUKA, DIED AS A PATRIOT PER EXCELLENCE OF AKWUKE AND AKWUKE UWANI COMMUNITIES.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>HIS MEMORIES WILL LIVE FOR AS LONG AS GREATER AKWUKE EXISTS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>THE DEFENDER OF GREATER AKWUKE COMMUNITY.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately since his murder:<br>\u274c No key suspects have been arrested<br>\u274c Those leaders of the communities walk free<br>\u274c His widow\u2014poor and helpless\u2014faces intimidation<br>\u274c Witnesses are threatened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even at his burial on 18\/12\/25 some of the suspects roamed around and the Enugu Police Officers posted by the Commissioner of Police to provide security decried lack of specific instructions to effect arrest in the circumstance even as some of them stormed the venue, his compound uninvited and threatened similar death to family members resolute to seek justice for HIM.
