It\u2019s been a year since Hon. Prof. Paul Sunday Nnamchi, our representative and son of the soil, brought healing through medicine, love, service, and presence. The impact still resonates loudly, from Trans Ekulu to Mbu, Abakpa Nike to Ikem, Akpuoga to Ogwuagor, and across every community that felt his care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Over 2,000 people benefited \u2013 fathers, mothers, children, and the elderly received eye examinations, dental care, vital sign checks, and free prescriptions. But more than medicine, hope was shared. Professionals like doctors, pharmacists, dentists, lab technologists, nurses and optometrists showed up because one man chose to remember his people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We didn\u2019t have to beg or lobby. Our representative came to us. That\u2019s leadership. That\u2019s love, that\u2019s action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some recipients of eyeglasses are still reading and seeing clearly today. Some whose illnesses were detected early are alive and well because of the intervention. Many found timely help they never expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prof. Nnamchi embodied representation. In a country where leaders often forget faces behind votes, he remembered. When leadership is usually heard on radio jingles and social media, Prof. Nnamchi brought it to the doorsteps of the sick and forgotten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One year on, we\u2019re still talking about it because we feel the impact. Prof. Nnamchi, you\u2019ve written your name in the hearts of the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This isn\u2019t just gratitude; it\u2019s a reminder that when good people rise, communities heal and live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
